Kitty & Jimmy — Byron Bay

Harnessing a late 60's poolside glamour mixed with Marrakesh nights, Kitty and Jimmy’s wedding was a creative dream. I want to thank them both for giving me full creative license in photographing this epic wedding, trust is a wonderful thing.

Taking place at Villa Rustica in Byron Bay (formally known as The Riad), their wedding theme was inspired by two key photographers of the 60's era, Patrick Lichfield and Slim Aarons. Kitty wore a white lace gown by Valentino with Yves Saint Laurent sandals and vintage mid-century Italian Lapis Stone for the ceremony, and a Burnt Orange Gucci gown with metal work in gold & YSL gold jewellery. Jimmy wore Gucci. Kitty's vintage 1930’s Art Deco engagement ring was a sight for sore eyes & the pair exchanged Cartier ‘Love’ Wedding Bands.

Vendors included White+White Weddings,  Silk & Willow, Fox & Fellow, Frank & Joy, The Palace & Co. & fragrant candles by Tete – A Tete incendere, Meishan’s room fragrance, inspired by 1991 film ‘Raise the Red Lantern’.
